On December 15, we organized the Christmas Party at the European Space Astronomy Centre (ESAC) from the European Space Agency (ESA) in Madrid. All the centre employees came to the party along with their families.

This year's theme was the Harry Potter universe. For a few hours, assistants became students at Hogwarts, the very best school of witchcraft and wizardry; and ESAC facilities were transformed to host Hogwarts classrooms, Hogsmeade town, the forbidden forest, and even the Great Hall with the sorting hat. Wizard appendices attended magic classes, practised magical sports, studied charms and discovered the science behind powerful potions. Moreover, they burned their remaining energies at the inflatable castles and enjoyed a tasty snack.

Among the magic, even Santa Claus managed to visit our party and spent some time with the younger ones, it was really exciting!

It was definitely a wonderful evening during which both muggles and wizards shared joy and happiness.
